Join the fun!
The 2017 Pagan Pride Day will be held at Samuel S. Lewis State Park in York, PA. It is located at 6000 Mt. Pisgah Road on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 10:00am until 6:00pm.
The purpose of Pagan Pride Day is education and networking for both Pagans and non-Pagans. You can read more about the original Pagan Pride Project at the national website: www.paganpride.org. Please be aware that this is a publicized national event, and we will be seeking coverage from local newspapers and media.
Festivities we plan to include, and are looking for applicants:
- Information booths for local covens & groups
- Local Pagan crafters & New Age vendors
- Entertainment (music & demonstrations)
- Food drive for H.O.P.E. (Help for Oncology Patients and Emotional Support)
- Free workshops & seminars
- Children’s crafts & activities
- Harvest themed ritual
We will be holding informative and fun seminars & lectures all day. This may include anything from a lecture or discussion on any related Pagan topic… to a short demonstrative ritual. Spots for this are limited, so if anyone would like to host a free seminar, please let us know as soon as possible. Also, if anyone from your group would like to volunteer a few hours of time during the Pagan Pride Day festival to help with necessary operations, such as parking, bathrooms, clean up, etc., please let us know that as well.
